For years, BannerFlex has served as one of North America’s leading banner bracket providers. Since our founding in 1983 by Roger Lepley, AIA, Kalamazoo Banner Works, Inc. has always delivered the cutting edge of banner marketing solutions. Even so, all the hype around us might seem like a mystery if you’re not already familiar with our products. But we can assure you—BannerFlex lives up to the hype. Today, we’re discussing how long BannerFlex banner brackets last and why they stand the test of time.
Decades. That’s the answer to how long our banner brackets last: decades.
Capable of withstanding rain, sleet, snow, and up to 100mph winds, BannerFlex hardware is built to last. In fact, we even added a 12-year warranty on all of our banner hardware just to show how confident we are in our products.
But we think there's a more interesting question to ask: what is it about BannerFlex products that make them so robust? Well, we’ll tell you.
BannerFlex banner brackets are built with a simple design of two major components: an aluminum casting and a fiberglass arm. See, we know a secret about banner hardware that many of our competitors simply don’t: flexibility is longevity. By that, we mean that a banner’s with the ability to flex with the wind will make it exponentially more resilient than one that can’t (hence the name BannerFlex).
Think about it like this: banners are kind of like sails on a boat. When its windy, the banner will “catch” that wind much like a sail, and bend with the flow of the wind. But when a banner bracket is built so tightly that it can’t bend, then all of that force adds stress to the banner arm. And we all know what happens to things that don’t bend—they break.
That’s why fiberglass is a central component to BannerFlex banner brackets. Fiberglass has incredible resilience, but it’s also able to easily bend without adding structural stress. That’s the secret to BannerFlex’s success—we believe in building with the wind, not against it.
At BannerFlex, we believe that true resilience isn’t the ability to stand still until you snap—it’s about weathering the storm and snapping back just as strong. To order your own BannerFlex banner hardware, click here to contact our team today.
