Tie-Down Mount Bracket

Price: $15.65

The Tie-Down Mount is an alternate method of securing the bottom of a fabric banner to the utility pole. It allows the banner to flutter in the breeze and is recommended where wind loads need to be decreased. Banners secured by this method will wear more quickly. See our Banner Hardware Guidebook for more information. It measures 2.125" wide by 2" tall by 1.375" deep with a .5" hole for the Cable Tie. It may be secured to the pole via .5" to .75" wide banding.

The tie-down mount bracket allows the lower portion of a banner to flutter in the breeze and is recommended for situations where there is no bottom bracket arm and/ or wind loads need to be decreased.

Details

  • Wind loads can be halved by attaching the lower pole-side corner with a cable tie or bungee to an anchored "tie down" and letting the outside bottom edge fly freely
  • Suggested for a temporary basis as it will limit the life of acrylic and vinyl banners
